Many interesting museums in the UK are not on everyone’s radar. The Atwell Wilson Motor Museum is often described as a hidden gem. Managed and staffed entirely by volunteers the museum opened with the collection of the late Richard and Hasell Atwell. In 2010 it was donated to the public.
With over 100 cars and motorcycles on display, there is something for all with an interest in motor vehicles.
I am delighted to share the video below with you, which will give you a taste of what the museum is like.
There is plenty of free parking and the museum hosts several special events during the opening season.
The admission cost is very reasonable:
Adults £10.00
Children (5 to 15 years) £4.00
Under 5s Free
I recommend you visit!
It certainly is a hidden gem. I wasn’t aware of it until your post, but it looks like it’s well worth visiting.
