A Walk Through the Village of Turleigh

Join me on this walk through the village of Turleigh, Wiltshire.

Turleigh lies close to Bradford on Avon and the buildings show that at one time though small, greatly prospered. The names of many of the buildings, now residential properties, indicate their former past. There is The Old Malthouse, an old pub, bakery, post office, tannery, mill and brewery. Quite a busy place for such a small village.

Please enjoy this walk as we explore this village starting on the hill down from the village of Winsley and the source of the village water supply before mains water was introduced.
