The Radstock Museum is undoubtedly one of the best small museums I have visited. The displays are of the highest standard, and the museum engagingly tells the story of Radstock. Going back in time, it shows the importance of coal mining and the railway in the town's development.
The recreation of a coal mine is well worth exploring, as you can see in the photos It is easy to spend several hours on a visit, and afterwards, you can sit down and enjoy tea and cake in the museum café!
