I haven’t seen many posts start with ‘dear reader’ for a long time. I have now ended that drought!

Talking about drought …

We haven’t had a great summer here in the UK. A few mad days of heat followed by clouds and some rain. Every year we are told by the newspapers that Britain faces a heatwave and thousands are likely to die from it. Well, sorry guys, you’re wrong. Happily, I am not sorry because I don’t want to see thousands die!

I apologise for the lack of stories here on Substack.

There’s been lots to do with family matters, so the limited time I have had available has been given to my YouTube Channels, Roland’s Travels and Grassroots Football Live. Please do take a look and if you would like to become a free subscriber that would be appreciated.
