The National Trust manages these beautiful gardens. They are probably one of those places that often go unnoticed.

Standing on the site of a former water-powered woollen mill the gardens were developed in the 20th century after the mill was demolished around 1890. The house was completed in the early part of the 18th century. It was lived in until recent times and has housed a tea room which is going to be redeveloped in the future and is currently closed until this happens.

Please do watch the video and enjoy the different garden areas. I will be filming during the coming seasons so you can see the variety of plants and colours.
