I'll have a walk past and pay homage to that very clever Mr Wright. What a good bit of delving. Thank you. 👌🏼👍🏼

I love this little investigation. It's a romantic notion of mine when I'm driving around my own small town to wonder how many stories I'm passing without ever knowing.

I live in a very large, very old palazzo in central Italy which has seen many interesting characters and stories. We purchased a portion back in 1993 and restored it. From its original state of ruin it has now been almost completely restored by other new inhabitants. As an historian I felt It deserved some research . The palazzo became the subject of a small bilingual book - as well as the title of my substack.com magazine. Hope you will check it out. The Painted Palazzo .
