Beautiful! I don't know that I've ever visited a castle. I've gotten close to them, probably, in Italy. But never entered. I like to imagine what life would have been like living in a castle. Probably not very luxurious. Cold, damp, dark.
I think castles for the owners were probably quite warm. Huge fireplaces, the walls clad in oak paneling and tapestries. Of course, not up today's standards, but people do live in castles today here in the UK. Especially the Royals!
