Thank you for commenting. There is also Arundel Castle in the town of the same name in Sussex. Your street with one 'L' could have been named because of that. Either way the name originates from Normandy and came across the Channel from 1066 onwards.

Derbyshire when I was a small boy, never new where the name Arundel came from, interesting
