June already! It’s an old cliche, but time really does fly.
Once again, I would like to thank everyone who subscribes to Roland’s Travels, and I have included links to May’s articles below.
The weather has been glorious, not too hot due to a seemingly permanent cool breeze. That suits me as I am “not one for the heat”, as we say here in the UK. Do you like the heat or prefer it cooler? Let me know in the comments.
I have been out and about with my video camera to create content for both my YouTube Channel and here on this blog. If you’re not a subscriber to my YouTube Channel, please consider taking a look and doing so. As I write this, the number stands at 444, and it would be great to welcome you there.
YouTube and this blog complement each other. Some things are completely different and some are a video view of the places I have visited. I hope you will enjoy watching it.
Did you see my invitation to join a new Facebook group for Roland’s Travels? It is a private group for us to share our love of travel and the places we visit. Here is the link. I will approve your request to join as soon as I can.
My video camera batteries are charged, and another adventure awaits. While I am out about it, it delays the editing and writing, so please bear with me. The weather is too good to waste, and with the wet and windy weather of previous months, it gives me time to bank material for those days when they return. (They will - this is England!).

Atworth - a Wiltshire Village
Let’s explore Atworth in Wiltshire It’s a beautiful day, and walking around Atworth in the May sunshine is very pleasant. I decided to park my car at the top of the hill to take in the view as I walked into the village. It’s not a high hill, but it gives a nice perspective to start my …
