My favourite destination in Europe is Dubrovnik Croatia and further afield San Diego California. So much to do and see there plus a fantastic all year round climate.
Thanks Matt. I have been to Italy on a coach tour. It certainly is a beautiful place and would love to go back and spend time there. It has gorgeous countryside, lakes and mountains, plus some amazing coastline. Throw in the wonderful towns and villages with historic buildings it’s a winner all the way!
Just spent time in the Orkney Islands. Well worth a visit. Sweeping views, no trees and ancient stones. Something I learnt from the locals 'If you do not like the weather - wait 15 mins' :)
Anywhere warm and with a beach! Been to some lovely Greek islands in Corfu, Skiathos and Kefalonia, but also Burgau in Portugal is a lovely place to head to.

Hi Andy. Thank you. Dubrovnik is a beautiful place with a lovely climate. See my article from September about my holiday in that area. It involves sea monsters! 😂 https://www.rolandmillward.com/p/two-intrepid-explores-face-sea-monsters
I love the beach. Usually Mexico or Lake Tahoe. The later is beach & forest, which is perfect. Besides that, Europe. Usually Italy.

Hi Anthony.
That sounds wonderful. As I have heard said on many occasions, 'there is no such as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing'

For anyone living in the UK going somewhere warm and sunny often appeals. Is there any of these places that means more to you Trevor?
I'd go with Burgau, my mate has an appartment there so I can return any time really.
Now that is very useful :-)
