I expect, like me, you are already adding appointments to your calendar for next year (2027). In my endeavour to be more analogue and less digital I resurrected my Filofax and from 2025 I have kept a written calendar in it. However, I am not anti-digital and so I do use my iCloud calendar with it’s ability to set reminders ahead of the scheduled appointment. Being able to have reminders sent to my electronic devices is very helpful. However, having a calendar/diary in my Filofax is a wonderful back up if I am offline. One day, the Internet might be taken down as part of cyber warfare, or I personally might get hacked, in which case a paper backup will be invaluable.
With 2027 getting ever closer, I have already added a 2027 diary insert into my Personal size Filofax. This time I have gone from a week to a page to a week to two pages. The additional space will be useful in case extra notes need to be made. I have the space within my Filofax to allow for the extra pages.
I have found this system to be perfect for my planning of appointments and events. For day to journalling I am continuing to use the Bullet Journal Method, and 2027 will be my third year doing so.
How are you planning to schedule your appointments and events in 2027? Let me know in the comments.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to sharing more with you in the future.

I went analog completely 5 or 6 years ago and am not turning back.
